MIOSTAR II

PIN-Photo-Diode X-ray detector is a new, low-cost solution for energy dispersive investigations (XRF).
It combines a silicon Si PIN-diode, an ultra-low-noise JFET and a thermoelectric cooler to achieve a low-noise and stable output signal. An innovative and new design of the read-out electronic ensures accurate and comprehensive data for the user. The PIN photodiode is available in two grades with an energy resolution small than 200eV for the PA 200 and smaller than 400eV for the PA 350. Customized configurations are possible but need to be negotiated.
